Introduction

In accordance with the requirements of the Terms of Reference, this Structures Selection Report
is intended to provide information on the data that have been used in the determination of the
recommended structures for consideration by (name of authority).

Site Data Collection

All bridge sites have been visited by the structural engineer, geotechnical engineer, hydrologist,
environmental specialist, highway engineer and survey team for the collection and interpretation
of physical data relevant to each structure.

A summary of this information is provided in this report for each bridge.

Proposals for Structures

The structural proposals are based upon what are considered as methods of construction
appropriate for a major construction project. No structure has been identified that would require
anything out of the ordinary that might prove a cost risk to either the client or contractor.
