Title: Salt and Pepper Lab:
Purpose: To observe the effects of a charged surface on salt and pepper.
Hypothesis: If a charged surface (plastic spoon) is placed near salt and pepper, then
______________________ will happen.
Procedure:
1. On a paper, sprinkle a little salt and pepper on a paper.
2. One member, rub a plastic spoon in your hair for 10 seconds.
3. Quickly place the spoon by the salt and pepper without touching the surface.
4. Record your observations.
5. Repeat Steps #1-4 for two other members.
