Course Recommendation System (Mac) – Teachers

*Note: The screen will work best if your monitor is set at


1024 x 768 resolution or higher.

1. Open Firefox (this system will not function correctly in Safari)


2. In your address bar, type admnet1
3. You MAY see several security warnings

Click “Or you can add an exception…”

Click “Add exception…” 4. When

You might be prompted to save your password. You may do so but ALWAYS keep your
workstation secure at all times if you do.
5. You will see the opening menu and have a choice of working on incoming 9th grader
recommendations or current student recommendations
6. Click on “Current Students Course Recommendation System”
7. Select the School, Department, Teacher name and Class
8. Click

Search to see your class list with the default course recommendation

9. Click in the cells under Teacher Recommendation to select an alternate


course
a. The drop down arrow does not appear until you click in the cell

b. You can choose any course in the department
10. Click the Save button to save changes
a. After saving, you will see “Student updates were successfully saved” near the top of
the screen
11. To move to another class, select the new class from the drop down list above and click
Search

• If you are in a department in which you might recommend two future courses, you may enter a
course in the Elective Course column
• If you have no changes from the default, there is no need to enter the class
• To clear the screen after saving a class click Reset
• If you make a mistake, you can clear the screen before saving by clicking Reset
• Do not use the Back button to navigate; use the menu buttons
