Section Sweep Tool
Objective:
To create a part using the section sweep tool protrusion command.
Procedure:
1.Start Pro Engineer.
2.Open a solid part file.
.Then clic! "nsert#Sweep#Protrusion. The following windows will open. $rom te
%enu %anager window we will select &S!etch Trej&.
'.(ow the ProE will prompt us to give the s!etching plane and its references. )ll
these steps will be for defining the trajector* for sweep. "n this tutorial we will use the
previousl* defined planes for s!etching. +e can flip the direction of view for
s!etching. Then we select the reference plane for s!etching orientation. )ll the
windows for the above mentioned options are shown below:

,.+hen we select the default reference plane- the ProE ta!es us to the s!etching
mode. The s!etch made b* using the spline tool- is shown below:
..)fter we clic! the &continue with current section button&- the command as!s us to
s!etch the &section&. The s!etch of the section is shown below:
/.(ow clic! the 0one !e* of the s!etcher and then the O1 !e* of the Protrusion small
window. The finished swept part is shown below:
