Dear Parents,
WELCOME BACK TO TERM 4!
I hope you and your children have all had a good holiday and are ready for a busy last
term of 2014 It!s hard to believe there are less than 12 "ee#s left until $hristmas%
Over the ne&t 11 "ee#s, our class "ill spend a short time dra"ing together the
learning "e did last term from our in'uiry unit( )rom paddoc# to plate * the +ourney of
our food ,s many children "ere unable to present their pro+ects due to a range of
unforeseen circumstances, I plan to spend the -rst "ee# or so of this term -nishing
things o.
Thank you, a!en"s, for your fabulous contributions of time and ideas, by assisting
your children "ith their )ood pro+ects /o far "e have had a po"er point presentation
about -sh saved from home onto a 0/1 stic# and presented on our classroom
/martboard 2e have also shared in a delicious home3coo#ed dish that "as shared
"ith all the class, and a range of very attractive and interesting "ritten pro+ects that
are currently on display in the classroom So please come in and have a look at
your convenience.

their comprehension s#ills to self3correct errors as "ell as punctuation and phonic

needs to identify literal and implied meanings, main ideas and further details :ear ;
