About Me:
Hello, my name is Mrs. Kay. This is my second year here at North Lake High School. I graduated from Wayne State University in 2009
with my bachelors degree. I majored in social studies and have a history minor. Before coming to North Lake High School, I taught 9th grade
world history for Utica Community Schools. In addition to my teaching experience, I have also enjoyed working with students outside of the
classroom. I spent three years coaching JV Girls Basketball at Warren Woods Tower High School.
I am excited to be part of the North Lake High School staff and am looking forward to working with the students here. I try to create a
fun, engaging atmosphere for my students and make history come alive. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to email me at
