Procedure

Hook
The teacher will flash a paragraph. The students will determine which sentences are
not related to the text or those that do not make sense.

Presentation
The teacher will explain coherence and its patterns.
The teacher will give examples of patterns of coherence.

Practice
A text will be presented to the class. The teacher will ask volunteers to
underline sentences that show patterns of coherence.
Produce
The students will write an essay on the assigned topics. They should observe
at least five patterns of coherence.
