FICTITIOUS - not real or true, being imaginary or having been fabricated. e.g. A thief assumes a fictitious name to hide his real identity and evade capture. 5. SOMBER - dark or dull in color or tone; gloomy. e.g. The night skies were somber and starless. 6. SCRUPULOUS refers to a person or process that is diligent, thorough, and extremely attentive to details. e.g. The research has been carried out with scrupulous attention to detail. 7. ACRONYMS - abbreviation formed from the initial components in a phrase or a word. e.g. It wouldn't surprise me to find out that your company has never explained these acronyms or their meaning to you. 8. EXUBERANCE - The quality of being full of energy, excitement, and cheerfulness; ebullience. 9. PROLIFIC refers to a plant, animal, or person producing much fruit or foliage or many offspring. e.g. In captivity, tigers are prolific breeders. 10. ADMONITION - advice or mild criticism; warning. e.g. The old judge's admonition to the jury on this point was particularly weighty. 11. RIDICULOUS - extremely silly or unreasonable; mockery; absurd. e.g. That is a ridiculous plan. 12. INEXPLICABLY incapable of being explained or cannot be explained, interpreted, or accounted for. e.g. She suddenly and inexplicably announced her retirement. 13. WEEDY - containing or covered with many weeds. It also refers to a person thin and physically weak in appearance. e.g. A weedy path led me to the gate. 14. FALSITY - the fact of being untrue, incorrect, or insincere. e.g. He exposed the falsity of the claim. 15. ABSURDITY - the quality or state of being ridiculous or wildly unreasonable so as to be foolish or not taken seriously e.g. Duncan laughed at the absurdity of the situation. e.g. An exuberant welcome for the hero.
