DATE: Saturday, October 25 th , 2014 from 0800 hrs. to 1630 hrs.
COURSE: BECON is a course designed to better prepare those in management and leadership positions who are tasked with the safeguarding of our students, employees, and citizens through a non-sequential series of strategies applied prior to, during, and post Active Shooter Event. This is a one day course incorporating lecture and practical exercises.

MEALS: Meals will be provided at the venue. There will be hot and cold entrees, sandwich bar, pre-made salads, and beverages. Additionally, there will be coffee and snacks provided in the morning and during breaks.
CLOTHING ATTIRE: Jeans or tactical attire with polo or t-shirt and running shoes (no dress shoes). You will need a long sleeve, sweat shirt for the practical exercises.
GENERAL WARNING: The practical exercises involve moderate physical exertion and contact. This course utilizes airsoft munitions and you will experience the sounds of gun shots (blanks). Protective masks will be provided to each student. If you have any issues with participating in the practical exercises, inform the Instructor upon your arrival to the course.
