Goal Statement:
Within the next five years I would like obtain a position as a librarian in the information literacy
and outreach department. I will be mainly responsible for the librarys instructional and creative
programming while collaborating with regional and branch librarians in the surrounding areas.
To reach my desired professional goal I will have established a plan. Within the next five years I
will have to take actions to reach the professional goal. Actions ranging from receiving my
MLIS to participating in workshops are to increase my networking skills and gain the education
that I need to aim for my five year goal. In the following you will find my 5 year- Professional
