Apply to MSU Graduate School at
www.grad.msu.edu/apply
o Pay application fee
o Save MSU applicant ID (6 digit number)

Use your MSU applicant ID and password to log on the
graduate student portal at
https://admissions.msu.edu/gradportal/ and
enter/upload required information and documents.

Use the graduate student portal to request letters of
recommendation from three individuals.

Take GRE exam and have official GRE scores sent to MSU
o Institution Code 1465
o Department Code 1502
International students: take TOEFL exam and send scores
o Department Code - 68

Ask your institution to send your official transcripts to:
