President's Average Nominal GDP Growth Rate

What is the Nominal GDP Growth Rate? The GDP growth rate is the most important indicator of economic health. When the economy is growing, the GDP growth rate is positive. When its positive it will
increase the growth rate in business, jobs and personal income. If it's slowing down, businesses will hold off investing in new purchases and hiring new employees, just to see if the economy will improve.
As you can tell from the chart the US ecomonic growth rate between 1970 and 2013 was at its highest average per presidential term at 11.13 % during President Carters' term. Followed by President Ford
at 9.55% and President Regan at 7.91%.

Conclusion
Based on all the information I provided, I came to a conclusion that the President does have a major
influence on how the Economy fluctuates. Especially when it comes to GDP in the form of government
spending and budget cuts. Even with an increase in population it doesn't have a major effect on the
GDP.
