    are locations where two tectonic plates meet.

    3 Different Types

    1. Convergent Boundary
    areas where
    plates move
    toward each
    other and
    collide.
    These are
    also known
    as
    compression
    al or
    destructive
    boundaries.
    CONVERGENT ZONES
    Orogenic Belts Subduction Zones
    2. Divergent Boundary
    are areas
    where
    plates
    move
    away
    from
    each
    other,
    forming
    either
    mid-
    oceanic
    ridges or
    rift
    valleys.
    DIVERGENT
    Mid- Atlantic Ridge
    3. Transform Boundary
    occur
    when two
    plates
    grind past
    each
    other with
    only
    limited
    converge
    nt or
    divergent
    activity.
