My name is Petru Mitu and my colleague

here Dumitru Ambroci , represent Mr. Roman Raffalovici during this trial. On the night of 5
th
of April ,
the Family store was burglarized. Daniel Krylov discovered this fact, called the police and then
investigation started. Daniel suspected one of his ex-employee Roman Raffalovici who was fired
approximately three weeks ago. During this trial I will introduce you to Roman Raffalovici, a nice guy,
a beloved son, a good friend and a bold person. He is wrongfully accused of what he never
committed, in fact never could commit. At the night of 5
th
of April, Roman was enjoying his free
time, he was playing poker, had some drinks, won some money and reached to his home, the same
day when the store was burglarized. The next morning Roman was arrested by officer Ciubotari
without any legal ground.
The evidence will show that Roman was wrongfully accused and arrested, the evidence will prove
that Roman didnt had any motive, reason or possibility to commit this felony. Also I will introduce
you to Feodor Soroka, who is a friend of Roman. At this part the evidence will establish that Roman
has a solid alibi and a legal way of earning money.
We are really sorry about what happened to Daniels shop , its horrible and we hope that it will be
all ok. But let us be rational and honest, is not a reason to give all the credit to Roman.
Dear jurors , I ask you to focus on this case like a puzzle. You will have a task to match pieces in order
to obtain a picture, an accurate picture of what happened that night. My task will be to match the
key parts of the puzzle, and together we will find the true form of it. I ask you to be attentive
