Algae- certain algae specifically the brown

algae, which are commonly as seaweeds, are

photosynthetic.

Bacteria- cyanobacteria are prokaryotes,
which carry out photosynthesis using water
as the electron source and generating
oxygen.

Are common in freshwater and has
photosynthesis pigments chlorophyll
a and b and carotenoid , including
fucoxanthin . Their pigment
composition gives them a yellow or
brown color.

They are photosynthetic, just like the
brown algae and diatoms, they have
chlorophyll a and c and carotenoid,
including fucoxanthin , a yellow
carotenoid.

Most euglinoids are unicellular flagellates and
mostly are photosynthetic.

Autotrophic euglinoids have chlorophyll a and b
and have carotenoids , which are yellow and
orange color.

Are found in both freshwater and marine
environments . They are mostly photosynthetic
that have the same pigment as diatoms.

Share some similarities with land plants. They are
photosynthetic and possess chlorophyll a and b
and have carotenoids present in chloroplasts of
wide variety of shapes

Natural causes

Climate change-many species die because they are not
used to severe weather condition or climate change .

Changes in sea levels and currents- marine life depends
on denser ,saltier water that sinks and forms the current
.

Acid rain- when acid rain is formed and eventually fall to
the ground , it can also kill aquatic plants and animals in
lakes and rivers.

Invasive species- one of the major causes of change in
ecosystem is the invasion of outside species.
Three stages involved with invasion by
other species:
Migration- refers to the survival of a new
species into an already occupied area.

Ecesis- refers how well the new species
adjusts to the areas ecosystem.

Aggregation- involves reproduction of the
species after it has familiarized itself with its
new place of residence.
Human diversity
Human population growth- the increase in
the number of people living in this world only
shows the increase in their needs.

Habitat destruction- the lost of rainforest
biodiversity becomes rampant due to rapid
population growth.

Pollution- the main catastrophe our world is
facing now is all about the pollution which is
caused by the industrial, agricultural,

Agriculture
Because of the population explosion,
many forms of land are converted into
another form. Agricultural lands are now
decreasing due to their conversion into
residential areas or recreational areas.
