Aaliyah Williams also enjoys listening to RnB and Hip Hop music and many of the
artists she listens to include Jhene Aiko, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Boys II Men and more.
She regularly likes to keep up to date with whats going on in the music industry through buying

I intend to develop my product to target Aaliyah Williams by making sure my magazine also includes
ways in which Aaliyah can gain her opportunity to be recognised in her talent, by doing articles on
agencies that plan to hire people like Aaliyah. In order to give her an opportunity to be recognised,
as well as gain more magazine readers. Also Id make sure my magazine also features competitions
that are held by celebrities in the music industry that allows their fans to appear in their videos as it
encourages Aaliyah to participate in activities that may link to her future career. Her interests
through singing and dancing can be progressed through reading the magazine as it will give her
enough information she needs in order for her to succeed as well as encourage more young people
like herself to read my magazine.

quite similar to the genre that I have
chosen for my magazine is The Source
(Hip Hop). Target audience for the source
are predominantly influenced by Hip Hop
artists, the target audience are young
black males who show interest in Hip Hop
and RnB music. The magazine costs 3.98
and it is published every month. Although
the magazine front cover always features
a successful young black male, it allows
many young black males to aspire to be
successful in life like them.
This particular magazine front cover is one
that shows and indicates hat although this
artist is already successful, he is still
determined to stay successful. It encourages the magazines target audience to realise that although
they may be going through many things in their lives, if the stay determined to succeed in live then
they will. The diamond earring on his ear could also indicate o the readers that success isnt given,
its earned. Although this magazine shows are men are woman are portrayed in many different
ways, such as men seem to always be portrayed as powerful and successful which gives them more
respect. Whereas woman are always portrayed in a sexually way in order to entertain men. The
main things that are targeted to the target audience are concert tickets, the importance of
education and alcohol, main articles also features interviews and album reviews, quotes,
inspirational stories and fashion advice. The Source magazine genially targets readers from the ae
of 16-28. My own product will target both male and female but mainly females such as Aaliyah.
