Amendment 11-27 Categorized:

1. Those that deal with individual rights.


1st - 9th (Bill of Rights)
15th - All males voting rights
19th - Womens (suffrage) voting rights
26th - Age for voting set at 18

2. Those that deal with Federal government operations.
10th - Powers not given to federal govt are reserved for the states
11th - People in one state cant sue another state (Disputes between states are
reserved for the Supreme Court under original jurisdiction)
12th - Electoral process of choosing pres. & vice pres. (corrects 1800 election)
17th - Popular vote for Senators (no more states choosing their senators)
20th - Terms of office for Legislative and presidential (when they start)
22nd - Term limits of President (No more 4 terms for FDR)
23rd - Gave D.C. electoral votes
25th - Further clarifies pres. succession (filling empty office and pres. disability)
27th - Legislative pay raise restriction (raise dont take effect until next election)

3. Those that allow or disallow specific laws or establish new processes.
13th - Abolished slavery
14th - Established citizenship, representation, and loyalty
16th - Federal income tax
18th - Prohibition
21st - Ends Prohibition
24th - Ends poll tax
