Group Summary

Our group includes Brita Jensen, Kaytlyn Stephens, Troy Davis, and Kortni Sawyer. Our
planning went well. We first decided who was going to argue which side and then how to
structure the debate. We met together a few days later to review what we found individually and
how we would put it all together. Everyone did their part and found valid information to our
topic. This project went very well and our group made a great team. We felt that our debate
demonstrated breadth and depth of euthanasia, presented valid evidence, demonstrated logical
sequencing and was easy for the audience to follow, and was delivered in a respectful manner.
We decided to incorporate our goals, thesis, introduction, claims with evidence, rebuttals,
and conclusions for the debate. We decided to each take five minutes to share our various claims
with evidence to present the pros and cons of euthanasia. Our goals include: persuade the
audience to be for or against physician-assisted suicide or euthanasia, generate critical thinking,
verify the value of evidence of euthanasia, compare and contrast the pros and cons of euthanasia.
