7-7-6 Rule will apply:
1. Each half will be divided to 7-min, 7-min,6-min periods. There will be a
mandatory substitution after the 1
st
7-min period wherein players that have
not played will be able to in the 2
nd
7-min period.
2. There will be no substitution inside the 1
st
and 2
nd
7-min periods except for
injury.
3. In case of injury, the injured player can only go back to play in the last 6
minutes of the half. Replacement for the injured player will be selected by
the opposing coach if the team with the injured player has less or equal
number of players with the other team.
4. Player Selection by Opposing Team. If both teams have the same number of
players, selection by opposing coach to complete the players for the 2
nd
7-min
period is waived unless in case of injury (see Rule 3). In situation wherein
one team has more players than the other, the team with more has the right
to select player/s equal to the difference of the number of players present in
each team. For example, if Team A has 9 players and Team B has 7, Team A
coach has the right to select two (9 minus 7) players from Team Bs 1
st
five to
play in the 2
nd
7-min period. Team B coach has only one player to choose from
his 1
st
five to complete his 2
nd
five. So Team Bs 2
nd
five will be comprised of 2
players selected by Team A coach, 1 player chosen by Team Bs coach and 2
players that have not played.
5. The last 6 minutes of each half is the coachs choice or open period wherein
he/she can put ANY player/s in his/her lineup. Note that this is not a
mandatory substitution. In this period, the coach can retain or substitute
player/s from the 2
nd
7-minute period. The last 6 minutes only signals that
substitution is now allowed.
6. TIMEOUTS. Four timeouts for the whole game. One in overtime/s.
7. RUNNING TIME. Game is running time except in the last two minutes of the
2
nd
half and Overtime/s if the lead is less than ten (10) points.
