Planned and instructed a Summer Day Camp program for at-risk kids ages 5 to
12 collaborating with a team of three other counselors.
Counseled kids in order to develop positive social behavior in accordance with
an outlined classroom management plan.
Communicated with parents about camp expectations, curriculum, and
upcoming field trips.

College Ministry Intern August 2011-May 2012
Auburn Wesley Foundation (Auburn, AL)
Created a community for graduate students from a variety of different
disciplines and countries collaborating with an ordained elder.
Guided a group of Freshman boys facilitating discussion around life
experiences.
Served student leaders within the ministry providing willing hands, open ears,
and a counseling disposition.

Experience
International: four one-week trips to Honduras and the Bahamas; one three-week
trip to Zambia doing construction and medical projects.

National: many one-week trips to New Orleans, LA; Durham, NC; and Frakes, KY
doing construction projects.

Interests Wrestling: Wrestled 5 years in high school and 1 year in college (club). AHSAA 2x
section champion and 2x state finisher.

Cross Country: Ran 2 years in high school, and finished 2 marathons both under 4
hours.
Karate/ Self-defense: Earned a black belt in Midori Yama/ American Free-Style
Karate. AKC state champion in sparring.
Scuba diving: SSI Open Water Diver Certified. Logged 11 dives traveling to Belize
and the Bahamas.
