neurosurgery, general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, robotic surgery, plastic surgery, high risk
obstetrics, urology and gynecology.

Extensive on-call experiences include emergency surgery, inpatient airway management emergencies, urgent
and emergent obstetrical management.
Cardiac rotation procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacements, abdominal and
thoracic aortic aneurysm repairs, trans-esophageal echo procedures, pacemaker/AICD implantation and
atrial fibrillation ablations. Skill development including arterial line placement, central line placement, and

Thoracic anesthesia specialty rotation with care administered to oncology patients undergoing extensive
head and neck, intra-abdominal, intra-thoracic and pelvic procedures.
Skills gained in one-lung ventilation, central line placement, fiberoptic airway management, thoracic epidural
placement, and fluid and blood management for lengthy cases.
