Conclusions
Structural engineers analyze the structure of buildings and how they will take on loads of
weight. Interior designers decorate the interior of the buildings and how the space is occupied.
Civil engineers deal with public works designs such as Museums. Architects design buildings and structures. Building
inspectors look if the building follows codes of construction.

Meeting Notes
The farmhouse belonged to the fifth president James Monroe.
We have to research James Monroe in order to make the experience in the house
more realistic
researching historical sites and castles to see popular attractions
mazes, gardens, picnic areas
inspect and discuss house problems
roofing is weak
no heating, electricity or plumbing system
house is dirty which can lead to the wood decaying
ways to preserve houses
save most parts of the house (plaster, windows etc.) to keep it as authentic as
possible

the farmhouse is located in the outskirts of Abingdon,a small town in Virginia
Because the farmhouse is in an unpopular area, we have to make it a place that people
will travel a long distance for. It should be a historical site where families can spend a
day trip
add attractions that will keep children entertained

maze, garden, picnic area, pond, creek, statues, scenic pathways
