Strengths of the Software: Teachers can use this class for whole class, small group, or individualized instruction. Teachers can also monitor
student progress and alter instruction based on how they are performing. Word problems can be the most difficult thing for students to
understand, and Go Solve helps them think through each problem, and it gives them strategies to solve them.
Suggestions for Improvement: This software would be better if it was a game or whole class competition.

Description of how to implement in the class: I would have the whole class use this software for a set amount of time and I would create a
competition to see how well they were solving problems. You can also display the software on an Interactive Whiteboard to use during a mini
lesson for whole class instruction. Teachers can also assign problems to individual students who may be struggling with solving math word
problems.
* Examples of common instructional models include whole group, teacher-led, student self-paced, small group, or individual learning
activities. Use as many of these descriptors or other descriptors as apply.
