Unit Unit 1 Graphic Design Global Context Global Context Personal and Cultural Expression Key Concept Communication Related Concept Perspective Statement of Inquiry Students will inquire into how the language and the curriculum of the IB define what we strive for as students and teachers. Students will create posters using the Graphic Design program Gimp depicting the Key Concepts of the IB. It relates to me, because I like to do experiments, and I like to make things.
3. Define the Global Context you choose in your own words. Then find the definition on my wall, write and compare your definition with the one on the wall.

This represent my word, because this 2 photos shows, to understand the world, and to make the world happier.
How could you improve the image to make it more centered around the global context?
I think that we can make the image more centered to the global context by making the photos more natural.
What was the first thing you thought of when you saw the image? Why?
When I first saw the image, I thought that the nature of this world is really cool, and amazing.
What would you use as a caption for the images?
Lets save the nature of Earth.
5. What have you learned about the global context? How will what you have learned help you create your design?
I learned the beauty and the importance of the Earth. It helped me, to show the eco more.
B. Developing Ideas (complete on A4 paper) 1. Write a design specification of 6 things you want to make sure you include in your design. 2. Brainstorm ideas for your design. 3. Draw two sketches of your idea for Global Context design. 4. Ask a friend which of the design he/she thinks is more creative. Record their response. 5. Choose one of your two sketches to create in Gimp. Give 5 reasons why you chose the sketch. Be PRINCIPLED : remember to practice ACADEMIC HONESTY in all of your work !
