progress toward becoming a stellar teacher.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
Over thirty two years of progressive experience in various fields to include: twenty eight
years in childcare, eleven years in education, thirteen years as a customer service trainer, four
years in Biology research labs, seven years in management and human resources, and
nineteen years as a professional model.
Completed thirty hours of field based teaching observation toward Texas alternative
certification for teachers, most of these hours were done at Killeen High School with
continued training from ACT of Central Texas in Temple, Texas.
Earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the College of Science and
Mathematics, at The University of Massachusetts Boston, Home of the Beacons, Boston,
Massachusetts, December 2003.

groups and with all levels of staff within an organization, orally and in writing to ensure
timely completion of all assignments.

allow parents to work closely their children to achieve the desired results.
Communicate closely with school administrators to gain a full understanding of the state of
Texas and local testing requirements and align the coursework to ensure that our students
gain a full understanding of the subject and can demonstrate this knowledge through
standardized testing.
Create a positive and achievement oriented environment that will keep students excited about
learning and encourage students to look for creative solutions to solve current and future
environmental issues plaguing our planet through biology and science.
Work very closely with the district special education teachers to develop alternate lesson
plans that will ensure that all our students are provided an equal opportunity to develop a
love of science according to the guidelines established in the Individual Education Plans.


Manage student behavior in accordance established policies and ensure that students adhere
to written policies established in the student handbook and the student code of conduct.
Maintain a professional relationship with colleagues, administrators and parents to ensure
that proper communication is maintained by scheduling parent conferences, attending staff
activities and maintaining a presence at extracurricular activities.
Develop exciting and budget conscious trips and activities to reinforce classroom
assignments, and assume complete responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of the children
for the duration of the activity.
Outstanding college prep mentor; dedicated to ensuring that each students is prepared for
college by teaching students how to acquire detailed recommendation letters, oral
communication skills and interviewing skills, resume writing, and how to pay for college
with grants.
