Summary of Steps and Tools used to Create this Demonstration

Analysis:
Purpose: To increase multimedia skills related to teaching
and training. To support best practices in teaching and
learning and organizational goals.
Learning Objective: Present the training to add Print
Widgets to presentations so that participants can add Print
Widgets to their presentations or, request assistance from the
Faculty Development Staff to insert the Print Widgets into

presentations. A survey could also be provided to participants,
asking them the likeliness of them adding Print Widgets to
their presentations in the future.
Target Audience: faculty and staff
Implementation:
Publish the demonstration training to an online
server and make it available to participants.
Make sure participants are aware of the training
and have easy access.
Make a quick and easy evaluation tool available
to the participants so that feedback is received
from the target audience.

Design:
Create outline and identify specific content items
Evaluation:
Collecting evaluation data is critical to
determining if the training created the desired
changes in skills, knowledge and behavior. It is
essential that evaluation methods and criteria be
identified and documented in the Analysis stage
of Instructional Design.
Evaluation Data should be thoughtfully analyzed
and revisions to trainings should be implemented
when it is determined they would be beneficial.
