I took time off from school to help develop a start-up business which focuses on
manufacturing bio-degradable/completely compostable disposable tableware and to discover a major
which fits me best. I plan to return to school in the spring of 2015 for a B.S. in Accounting.

Pioneering Member of Youth-Rise (Bangalore, IN Chapter) March 2011-August 2011

Helped in arranging a trip to Dahanu located in Maharashtra, IN to help
renovate a school building and teach children the importance of going
to school.

Taught children at a government boarding school English as well as
Social Sciences.
I would also report to the head of the school directly in arranging
activities for the children.

This position I held as a freshman was used to spread the word and
advocate about the South Asian Student Association. We arranged
various events to bring more members into the organization as well as
to raise money for THON.

I worked here for a short period of time as a part-time employee who
would regularly interact with customers and make sure all shelves and
ingredients were stocked.
Line Manufacturer for Polaris Industries in Roseau, MN
June 2013-August 2013
I worked on the manufacturing line for both snow mobiles and off-road
covered vehicles. I worked with my hands a majority of the time
assembling and repairing off-road vehicles. Here I learned a lot about
the manufacturing processes for a large multi-national company and
how to effectively assess the quality of a product based on a system of
checks and balances.
