A crisis that I think the world faces is materialism. Materialism is found in all
parts of the world. People are materialistic nowadays because the prices of
goods have skyrocketed. As goods become more expensive, people yearn
for more money. The gap between the poor and rich has widened. That is
why it makes people greedy for money. One of the effects of materialism is
people resort to corruption to make money. As a teacher, I can do my part to
educate my students and friends not to put money as a priority in life. Focus
on other goals to make us happy.
