Exhibit: Accountability sheet from weight training

Benchmark: Personal Management

Skills: P105- Use timelines, document steps you take, and evaluate your results in a problem solving
process
P106- Use charts, graphs, or graphic organizers to demonstrate organizational skills

In our weight training and personal fitness classes we are required to fill out accountability sheets each
week. Each day we write down on these sheets what we did that day. Keeping track of everything we do
throughout the semester is very beneficial. It allows us students to track our progress and easily see any
gains we made.
The accountability sheet is a chart with different columns for and rows for the exercises we do and how
many sets and reps of each. This chart is to keep us organized and I show my organizational skills by
filling it out the same way every time so that it looks organized and it is easy to read. Keeping all of the
accountability sheets in a folder creates a timeline of all the workouts I have done for each nine weeks
of the school year. I can see the strength and cardio I gained throughout the year by looking back
through the sheets. At the end of the quarter I can compare how much I was lifting and how fast I was
running to what I could do at the end of the quarter.
When researching as a wildlife biologist it will be important that I keep all of my data and results
organized. Being able to use charts and graphs to help document data will increase my overall
organization as a wildlife biologist. When researching an animal I will need to use timelines to track their
eating habits or migratory habits. I will need to write down and document all of the research I do and
the data I collect. When I am done collecting data I will need to evaluate my results to come to a
conclusion.
As a young adult going to college I will need to use a planner or some type of chart to stay organized. I
will need to have a chart of when my classes are and keep a planner of what homework I have. Going
into a major in biology I will most likely be in multiple science classes. When we have research projects I
will need to use timelines to track everything that happens throughout the project. At the end of the
research I will need to have all my data organized to come to an accurate conclusion.
