THINK YORK

CANADA,
YOUR CHOICE
ABOVE ALL OTHERS.

More than 4,230 international

students from 158 countries
attend York University. Their
journey to York starts with
choosing Canada for a degree
that is recognized around
the world.
Canada spends more per capita on its education system than any other country in the world.
That means there is a concentration on quality that offers students an affordable, portable
and career-focused degree. Canadian work experience is highly desired by multinational
companies that actively recruit on Canadian campuses. The cost of study in Canada is also
considerably less than the USA, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Canada is repeatedly chosen by the UN as one of the best places to live in the world.
International students can apply to work off-campus after six months of full-time study.
International students can work in Canada for up to three years after graduating by
securing a postgraduate work permit.
New policies ease the transition for graduates who wish to call Canada their permanent
home. cic.gc.ca
