This ecolabel identifies wild caught seafood

products from a fishery certified to the Marine
Stewardship Councils (MSC) standard as
well-managed and sustainable.

Future

Hong Kong was once a small, thriving fishing village.

Today, our local waters are over-exploited and we have
been forced to rely on imported seafood.

On a wider scale, humankinds insatiable appetite for

seafood has driven the worlds oceans into crisis. If
humans continue to consume seafood in an unsustainable
way, in only a few decades the worlds oceans may be
depleted of their edible resources.

Its time to turn the tide. Do your part and use this guide to
start choosing sustainable seafood. By working together,
we can begin to help our precious oceans recover.

for consumption.
