The aim of this study is to improve the reading proficiency for double vowel of au.

Three of
year 2 Arif pupils from Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Pergam, Kemaman who are facing trouble in
reading the au vowel have been involved in this study as the respondents. Therefore, a
module named SUWA is created in order to improve the proficiency level of reading the vowel
among the respondents and this study takes four weeks to be completed. The result from the
findings and data analysis shows significant changes as the respondents are able to read the
au vowel correctly after using the SUWA module. To conclude, the use of SUWA module is
seen to be effective in increasing the reading proficiency of au vowel.
