WRTG540: Visual Rhetoric


& Information Design

WRTG540: Visual Rhetoric and Information Design provides an introduction to theories and
practices for understanding and creating visual elements commonly used in written
communication. Students will study examples of visual rhetoric and information design,
propose a visual strategy project, gain experience designing documents and graphical elements
as part of the strategy, and arrange samples into a portfolio.
