Starter What is cloud computing?

means using computer services on another organisations computers, which are known as hosts.
1. Name some well known hosting companies that provide cloud services.
Well-known companies for cloud putting are Amazon, microsoft, google and RackSpace.
Cloud storage is related to cloud computing and is where only the hosting company provides the storage,
access and retrieval facilities.
2. What are the benefits of cloud storage?

You only pay for the storage that you have used.
You dont have to provide and maintain the
hardware locally.
Data and files may be available anywhere in the

4. What does ubiquitous mean?

It means existing everywhere.

Processors can be embedded in any device. Including clothing,appliances,vehicles,buildings and people,
to connect them to the internet so that the ata generated by the processors will be available.
