goals/FEAPS(framed as wonderings) you worked on this semester? To which FEAPs do these goals/challenges apply? -My FEAPS goal was Continuous professional improvement. The effective educator consistently uses a variety of data independently, and in collaboration with colleagues, to evaluate learning outcomes, adjust planning and continuously improve the effectiveness of the lessons. My FEAPS goal hasnt changed throughout the semester.

Describe the reason you selected these wonderings. -I selected this wondering/goal, because I knew its something that teachers can always work on. I would like to continuously work on improving my lessons and evaluating learning outcomes, so I can be more prepared when I start teaching students of my own. I knew that one way I could evaluate learning outcomes is simply by asking students how did you get your answer? By asking that question, it allows me to see what each students thinking process is, whether the answer is right or wrong. I can find the faults in the lesson that way and adjust my planning for my lessons to teach the students to the best of my abilities. Describe several ways you grew in each of these areas. How do you know you made progress? Provide specific evidence (refer to videos, observation notes, student work, photos, field notes, etc.) to back up these claims of growth. -I believe I grew in the areas of evaluating learning outcomes, adjusting planning, and continuously improving the effectiveness of my lessons. Ive taken a lot of notes throughout my internship as I observed students during lessons. My notes went into detail about what each student is struggling with, what they already know, and how I should work with the students. Also, I evaluated tests and
How did you CT/US support
your growth over the semester? -My CT supported my growth over the semester, by writing lesson evaluations for me after many lessons that Ive taught. She wrote down my strengths, weaknesses, and tips. We conferenced to evaluate learning outcomes and determined how I can improve my lessons, based on data. My internship supervisor supported my growth over the semester, by giving me tips on how to improve my lessons. Also, she gave me examples of how I can do a connected lesson by evaluating learning outcomes. Then, using the learning outcomes to re-teach certain areas in my follow-up connected lesson.

quizzes by writing down each question that each student missed. I was able to determine what I should work on with each student for upcoming lessons when I went around checking on students. As you can see in my pictures, my CT wrote notes about my lessons. In the beginning of my internship on September 11th, the notes said comments such as: Tara had wrong order- tip: cruise room to eyeball kids work half way (or before) through lesson. So, I knew that I needed to observe the students work more often to make sure they had the correct order for a problem in math. On the next picture, it shows my notes from October 8th: Like how you got up to check work Always assessing! As you can see, I began assessing work a lot more. Another comment says Tara showed 8 and then took 3 away. How can it be checked? My CT liked that I worked closer with this student. I made plans in my lessons to work on specific areas with this student. Then, my CT wrote Might have lost a few. Make sure you have time to do practice! So, I adjusted my planning based on learning outcomes from that lesson. The next day on October 9th, I did another lesson based on the learning outcomes from the previous day. My CT wrote that she I asked why, how did you know, how did you get your answer, etc. throughout the lesson. I used this strategy when I went around to each student, because I was able to see what their thinking process was and see where the weaknesses were in the lesson. The very last picture shows CT notes from October 22nd. It says Liked how you asked students to explain how they got their answer- very common core! Again, I used this strategy to evaluate learning outcomes. So, those are only a few examples of how I worked on my FEAPS goal throughout my internship.
Where do you go from here?
What are your future goals as you move toward your final internship? -I plan to continue following my FEAPS goal throughout my final internship, but also add new goals. I will probably add the FEAPS goal of support, encourage, and provide immediate and specific feedback to students to promote student achievement. I feel like that is also something that teachers could always work on. Students need clear feedback in order to learn and succeed in school.
