What are the core disciplines of Higher Ambition Leader evolving from
transformational leader?
In terms of community of shared purpose:
One of the significant differences in transformational leaders and higher ambition
leaders is that higher ambition leaders targets to build a community of shared purpose
which aims to align with not only employees but society at the same time.
In contrast, transformational organizational culture only aims to motivate and inspire
employees. These actions focus solely on internal staff but not the external business
environment (market, society and other stakeholders).
This shows that higher ambition emphasize on the bigger picture in a sustainable
context. They take organizational culture to another level as it is built from creating a
community of shared purpose. This is a new approach that transformational leaders do
not acquire.
A community of shared purpose built by the higher ambition leaders are likely to allow
the businesses to maintain their sustainable performance. This is because it motivates
the employees by giving them a vision where every employee shares the same purpose,
which is combined with social and economical value, including all internal and external
stakeholders of the businesses. (i.e children, consumers, employees, etc.)
In comparison to transformational leaders, they only attempt to build a strong
organizational which aims to motivate and inspire employees in achieving their goals
which is in most cases profitability.
