EXPERIENCE
ROBOTICS
Participated first as member, then as coach, then as team captain of various robotics teams
in VEX and FLL programs for six years (and still working as team captain currently).
Competed from state to world level (won 1st Place Project Design Solution at Worlds
Robotics Festival) and programmed at FLL and VEX robotics competitions.
AVIATION
Won the Lewis A. Jackson $1500 Private Pilot scholarship in April of 2014 to begin my flight
training, and on September 3rd 2014 completed my first solo flight in a Light Sport Tecnam
P-92 Echo. I have a passion for flying and want to make it a career, particularly in military
aviation.
NATIONAL AVIATION HALL OF FAME
Informed visitors to the NAHF Learning Center on the history of aviation and the people
who fostered it, helped in upkeep and cleaning, manned the front desk and sold some items
SCIENCE FAIR
Competed from 2012-2014 in the Intel Science and Engineering Fair, once with a project on
mathematically modeling blood spatter patterns and another on programming a model of a
planet moving around a star to showcase Keplers laws.
JUNIOR COUNCIL ON WORLD AFFAIRS
Competed on a team by studying various aspects of current world events independently and
then collaborating with a group to win a competition.
STUDENT AMBASSADOR
Gave tours of and represented my high school (the Dayton Regional STEM School) as well as
volunteered at Exhibition Nights and Open House to showcase my work and introduce
others to the school.
