!Dear Resident/Homeowner,
!The City of Ottawa would like to invite you to a Public Information Session to discuss a project that is
scheduled for construction in your neighbourhood.
!WHY:
Due to age and condition, the underground and surface infrastructure on Rideau Valley
Drive South needs to be rehabilitated.
!WHAT: The work will include storm sewer replacement, road reconstruction and resurfacing,
!WHEN:
!WHERE:

and landscaping reinstatement. New sidewalks and cycling facilities will also be
constructed as part of this project.
Construction is planned to begin in spring 2015. The underground and road work is
expected to be completed by the end of fall 2015, with landscaping work in spring 2016.

At the Public Information Session you will be able to review the preliminary design plans and related
project objectives, provide comments and bring forth any issues that have not yet been identified.
Representatives from the City, the consulting team and the Ward Councillor will be available to
discuss the project and answer your questions. Your input is an important part of the consultation
process.
