Following the intial brief, where Yap brought along magazines
to give the designer a visual idea ofthe look and colour palette she
desired for the place, Osman spent the next three months putting
theinteriors of the 2,023-square-foot space together. Her intent of
infusing notes of classical glamour into a light and airy space was
achieved through the use ofa palette with hues ranging from beige
and cream to ivory blended with sunny and gold accents.

landing, one is met by a picture of grandeur and character: an intri-
rely carved Indian sculpture, an Oriental rug and a Chinese paint

Western influences that come through in the sophisticated design of
the console by Christopher Guy, an English table

The impressive entrance leads into the main
livingand dining spaces inthis four-bedroom
apartment. Here, Osman sought to create an
inviting atmosphere that is understated yet
