Eli thought Hannah was drunk, but she was actually praying.

Eli's corrupt sons stole tasty meat.

It takes God calling Samuel 4 TIMES before Samuel knows it's God.

Eli is super fat, falls back, and dies under his own obesity.

God's wrath causes groin tumors.

The Philistines give golden rats and golden tumors to Israel.

Samuel names a rock "Ebenezer."

The King the Israelites ask for will be a TOTAL MOOCH!

Saul hopes to find his Father's lost donkeys but gets anointed king instead.

Saul hides among the baggage during the ceremony

Saul takes two Oxen, cuts them up, and sends the pieces around Israel

All of Israel feels really guilty when Samuel calls on God and it rains.

Samuel is late and so Saul sacrifices offerings to God and makes God really mad.

Jonathan pulls a Samwise Gamgee and kills a ton of Philistines in an outpost basically single-handedly.

Saul saves animals from being killed so he can sacrifice them ... WHAT?!?
