Dear Peter,

Thanking you for your e-mail. Regarding direct connection to customers, I would like to
clarify that we are happy to connect directly with customers who take power at 11kV,
client should have long term lease agreement for land, owns building and other
equipment. AGPL dont connect power to customers other than at 11kV.
Regarding pricing and specification we follow FEWA standard except in Consumption
charges as our cost of production is much higher and is not subsidized. This pricing
model is in operation since AGPL started. So far 237 clients are connected to our
network and many more are in pipeline to be connected. We cannot have multiple
pricing model and cannot change consumption charges to any one client as it will
create dissatisfaction to all our existing clients who are our long term customers.

In future, We are planning to convert simple cycle to combined cycle Gas Turbine , in
which we are aiming for reducing generation cost. If that happens we can consider to try
to match with FEWA prices. Meantime, You may be aware that FEWA has announced
likely increase in tariff by 14% to 17% which will of increasing FEWA tariff from 40 fils
to 46 fils, copy of news paper enclosed. If that comes into effect, AGPL prices will be
lower than FEWA

In addition to it, Fuel surcharge is not income to AGPL, it is collected by AGPL and
passed on to RAK GAS at actual.
