Duties:
Responsible for managing and overseeing evidence, ordering and procuring supplies &
equipment, and the financial management of funds for the Identification Criminalistics
Division (IDC).
Responsible for maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment for Crime Scene
investigators.
Verify incoming supplies and equipment against purchase order and shipping
documents

maintenance contracts.
Conduct research, identify, and analyze trends in the use of IDC funds, and
recommend adjustments in program spending to laboratory director.
Compile trial notebooks, assembling jury instructions, and compiling witness and
exhibit lists; and using automated software to produce legal related reports and
documents, including developing tables of contents and indices to briefs.
Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and messages from the public and
respond to them appropriately.
Use time management and multi-tasking tools to meet job requirements and converse
with supervisor, specialists, detectives, investigators and other interested parties on
subjects concerning routine, technical and sensitive information.
Maintain a current calendar of court dates and continuously evaluate the status and
effectiveness of program support in all functional areas to ensure schedules are
followed ensuring all evidence and reports are prepared and ready for presentation in
court.
