The key incidents/experiences that influenced my beliefs consisted of the

opportunities I had to work one-one-one with students. I helped them with their
reading and helped them solve math problems. By working with various students,
I had the chance to see their learning strategies and techniques. I observed some
students who struggled and those that were very successful with their class
assignments. This semester I learned many components of a typical elementary
classroom such as classroom procedures, classroom layout/environment,
instruction, evaluation, free-time, teacher planning, and the over-seeing of
administration. The fourth graders at Connerton taught me a lot about my passion
to be a school teacher. I know the journey wont be easy but my future students
successes will all be worth it.
