It is with great interest, I present my resume to you for consideration as an Elementary School
Teacher from Nevada State College. I firmly believe that every child is entitled to an enriched
education. Im positive that my passion for teaching, knowledge of various teaching methods,
and commitment to student motivation will provide students with the enriching education that
they deserve.
I am confident in the experiences I have gained through my education courses, more than 60
hours of observations, and student teaching to manage a classroom of my own. Throughout my
education at Nevada State College, I have worked in special education classrooms, gate
classrooms, homework clubs, and with many diverse students.
While completing my student teaching at a school where text books and programs are not
used, I learned to create engaging and original lessons. My creativity has pushed me to gain a
better understanding of students needs and how to meet students at their level. I taught
students who were exceeding in the grade level as well as students who had never been to
school before. This resulted in using my varied teaching skills to differentiate lessons so
students were able to grow and succeed. I believed in and created a positive classroom
environment where students were motivated to learn.

motivation for helping students succeed. I look forward with great anticipation to discuss the
many ways in which I can make a positive contribution to your educational program.
