SW practice skills for effective listening, such as understanding others main idea in conversation and
picking up details.
SW practice skills for effective speaking, such as delivering main idea to others in limited amount of time
and summarizing his/her ideas.
SW experience working in teams, sharing ideas, and to accept others ideas.

This is to decide 2 topics for debate activity.

T and Ss narrows down the responses
(topics) to 2 most suitable topics. (topics
that are appropriate, not against school rules,
and that can be done in 30 minute debates)

todays lecture, and Ss must do some
research about the 2 topics decided.
