Assign students to their respective teams (already decided for them by the
teacher in oder to achieve cooperation and limit fooling around)

Learning Activity #1
Time
Station 1: Scooter race around the pilons, both teams race at the same time
down and back up the course then their partner goes next. First team to
complete the race wins.
Station 2: Hoola Hoops, students race from one end to the other (running or
skipping), both at the same time, first team back wins.
Station 3: Bowling two teams each with their own balls and cones, which ever
team knocks down the most cones wins.
Station 4: Curling, teams throw disks into hoops on to of a hockey net. most
disks in the hoops wins.
22 minutes
students are able to modify their own rules at each station, so long as the
terms and rules are agreed upon before starting the activity and so long as
they follow expectations for behaviour.
Closure
Consolidation of
Learning:
Have students repot back at each station who won each activity. At the end
of class have students return equipment to the way they found it and then
line up at the door. Thank them for their participation and for acting
respectfully.
Time
3 minutes
Transition To Next Lesson Same (or similar) stations the following week. Students will get to complete
the stations they did not have time to complete during this lesson.
