Context of the lesson (Give information about the lesson and where it fits. Or, this lesson is a review
of .. covered in previous lessons
This lesson is the fifth lesson of Unit Moving and growing and it is a collaboration of what students
already know about Muscles and connect it to the exercise.

Teaching goal (State clearly what it is you plan to teach in this lesson
The overall aim of the lesson is to teach about changes in our bodies during and after exercise
describing what happens to our muscle when exercising compared to sitting still and does our body
temperature raise when we excises.
Learning objectives (State clearly exactly what you want the ss to be able to do by the end of the
lesson. Students will be able to:

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

- Identify what happen to the muscles or body part when we excises
- Describe the major characteristic of the changes when we exercise
- Compare and contrast the between skin temperature before and after exercise
Assumptions about prior learning (Mention what the ss know from previous lessons or their
experience eg The learners will have encountered or be familiar with or aware of...)
- Students already know the vocabulary of the lesson.
- Students may know what happen to the muscles
- Students are aware of temperature.
Anticipated problems and possible solutions (Mention problems and solutions related to management,
Some learners will find it difficult to pronounce some word like contract.
Students misbehave by being noisy and dont listen to the teacher while she talk so they have group
points for that and smiley faces.
Misconceptions
Some students may think that the skin temperature still the same after exercise and exercise don't
affect our body temperature.

Personal focus for this lesson (Based on your previous observed lesson, identify one or two aspects
that need improving. Eg. be more animated, monitor children more closely, provide more challenging
tasks etc)
In this Lesson I am focusing on:
1- Students using lesson vocabulary more often during the class.
2- Using points rewards "All for one and one for all"
3- Students working together without fighting.
4- Using smooth transition between each activity.

Planning Stages Within the 5-E Inquiry Model

Engage
PURPOSE:

To excite students for the new topic which is solar system.

To identify their prior knowledge of the unit.

To engage their interest of the new unit.

Key Question:
What changes happen to our body when we exercise?
Opening activity to surface student thinking:
A. Ss will run around the hall for 2 minutes
Directed
All students will run around the hall and then be seated on the ground.

B. Ss will act to what happen to the muscles, heart beating and breathing before and after
exercise.
Directed
Smart board laptop
Ss will act what happen to the muscles, heart beating and breathing before and after the exercise. T
will choose students.

Opening activity to engage student interest and/or clarify context of the investigations:
Running around the hall and acting activity will help students to engage with the new topic which is
exercise and body temperature.
Questions for whole group discussion:
What you feel? Can you act the heart beating before and after the exercise?
Teacher (What will the teacher do)
