Work Environment
Acupuncture treatments are usually done in private patient rooms and quiet
environments within a clinic or hospital setting. People in this profession can often
be self employed, running their own business either in a rented building or within
their own homes. Hours vary, but it is usually a full time schedule that runs
throughout the week, possibly extending into the weekend. Acupuncturists may
even choose to perform the treatment in patient's own homes for their convenience.
