SUMMARY
Skilled coach and fitness enthusiast with advanced training in teaching lifting and
exercise activities. I enjoy inspiring others to commit to long-term health and
fitness goals. I was employed at the Chester YMCA from June 2008 to August of
2009. I was a swim instructor and was certified in CPR. I also was a camp
counselor for summer camps. I have not worked since then, other than coaching
field hockey at Richmond Panthers United Field Hockey and giving private
goalkeeping lessons in field hockey and lacrosse. I work 'Stars of Tomorrow" field
hockey and lacrosse summer camps as well, hosted by Trinity Episcopal School. I
am currently a student at Christopher Newport University and I play field hockey
and lacrosse for CNU as well.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Transferred to Trinity Episcopal School in 2010 as an uprising sophomore and
played Varsity field hockey for all three years of high school. While there, we
made it to the final four state championship tournament all three years and
ended third or fourth in the state each year. We had winning records each year,
only losing 3 games sophomore year, 2 junior year, and 4 senior year. I was

awarded All LIS/All State Field Hockey Goalkeeper senior year. I made the 2012
Field Hockey Commonwealth games team and brought home the silver medal. I
participated in Futures Field Hockey Program for all 3 high school years. I played
for Panthers United Field Hockey Program for 4 years until I aged out and now I
coach and give private lessons. I picked up varsity lacrosse as a new sport my
senior year of high school and was both chosen to play in the Richmond All Star
Game, as well as was recruited to play in college at CNU. We made it to the Elite 8
for lacrosse in the state tournament my senior year. I played varsity soccer my
sophomore and junior years of high school. We made it to the first round of
states both years. In the weight room, I also excelled. I was named the strongest
girl in the school; I maxed out bench press at 155 lbs, and I maxed out back squat
at 270 lbs. I have been personally trained in lifting now for a year. I am also
(probably) the strongest girl on the field hockey and lacrosse teams at CNU as
well. We made it to the final four tournament my freshman year in field hockey,
and ended second in the CAC conference. In lacrosse, we made it to the sweet
sixteen. This year in field hockey, we ended second in the conference again as
well. All three semesters of my college experience, I have been inducted onto the
NCAA All-Academic Teams for both field hockey and lacrosse.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Camp Counselor/Swim Instructor

Chester, VA
I taught young children how to swim. Children ranged from 4 to 8 years of age. I
was lifeguard certified and CPR certified at the time, but I have not renewed my
certification. I also gave private lessons to children who needed more help in the
water. My boss asked me to counsel summer camp and so I did. I had to report
to numerous classes and department meetings and attended outside activities
with my coworkers.
