1. For someone working in your field, please describe the fantasies versus realities of the job.
(fantasy vs. reality)
At first I thought that things would always run smoothly but when in actuality, you have to be very
flexible because everything is always changing.

2. What is your current educational level? What continuing education and training are required?

I didnt complete four years of college just two. I have to do continuing education every two years for the
medical field. (License vocational nurse)

3. Please describe the typical day to day activities of someone working in your field.
(day-to-day activities)
For my job, I deal with patient complaints and managing and overseeing the office staff and personnel.

4. How secure are you in your current position? What do you think is the future of your field?

I think its very secure. I think it will be a stable occupation in the future.

5. What is a typical (average or lowest to highest) salary of someone working in your field?

The average salary is about $35,000-60,000 a year depending on experience.

6. What potential for growth is there in your field?

I dont think that there is any potential growth for my particular job.

The most challenging part about my job is dealing with unhappy patients.

I like people and I like the medical field so I thought that it was a good match.

9. What best advice could you give to students in order for them to have a successful future?
I would tell students to set a goal, stay with it, and work hard.
10. What particular skills or talents are essential for a position in this field?
The particular skills that one must need for this position is to be able to keep an open mind and
empathy.
